In 1998, after a lengthy career in the military, I enrolled on a course for trainee Toastmasters run by Professional Toastmaster Services, on completion of which I qualified as a Toastmaster.
As a Professional Toastmaster I offer my services to clients throughout the UK, and further afield. I am based in Bridge of Earn (Perthshire) and have almost 20 year’s professional experience in the toastmaster sector.
My aim is to help clients to enjoy their day as much as possible. I have considerable experience and knowledge of formal, and informal, events, and will provide clients with a day never to be forgotten.
The by-line of “The Scottish Toastmaster” is Direction with Decorum and Taste.
My clients are offered a service which will enable them to enjoy their event knowing that they will have agreed beforehand the format and level of formality they wish for the occasion.
The level of direction, requested by the client, is provided with as light a hand on the tiller as they require. The Scottish Toastmaster’s presence is never intrusive and I am there to serve the needs and wishes of my clients. Advice and guidance on protocol and etiquette is available on request.
Any problem which might arise can be dealt with professionally, with a minimum of fuss and usually without the client being aware of anything untoward occurring.
I have been required, and am able, to make announcements in French, German and Russian, but do require notice of this.
